TurboChef 201 (Tuesday, November 17th, 2020)

All current TurboChef users were invited to join Specialized on November 17th as we hosted a hands-on learning session to discuss the various features that can be utilized including menu programming, ChefComm software and how to train your staff on proper cleaning of the ovens.

Middleby Mardi Gras (February 25th, 2020)

We enjoyed a variety of cajun and creole creations made in the unique and innovative CookTek equipment featured in our test kitchen. We took a trip to the French Quarter by sampling  shrimp po boys, jambalaya and more!

Tapas & Wine with Enomatic (January 22nd, 2020)

We enjoyed tapas and wine featuring the innovative Enomatic wine serving systems. We sampled a range of varietals through the various dispensing systems available with Enomatic. Nothing pairs better with wine than tasty tapas fresh out of the TurboChef, Beech, and Middleby Marshall equipment featured in our innovative test kitchen!

Surf & Turf with Middleby Marshall (October 30th, 2019)

We enjoyed Surf & Turf and cocktails with Middleby Marshall and experienced how their conveyor ovens can fit every culinary innovation, quality of speed and capacity need. The CTX oven by Middleby Marshall provides an automated cooking platform designed to cook, bake, broil, sear, steam, and sous vide in high volume kitchens while saving operators on energy costs by utilizing their patented Energy Management System and CTX technology. We will be demonstrating how to cook a variety of products with a push of a button, in less time, at lower energy cost, in a minimal amount of space with less cleaning.

We discussed and experience how Beech Ovens and Jade can create and customize your dream kitchen. From Beech Ovens stone hearth, rotisserie and tandoor lines to Jade’s customizable island suite geared towards chef’s personal style of cooking – it was easy to see why these brands are trusted in the top kitchens around the world.

Blodgett Demonstration with Blodgett Chef Sarah Tresser (August 7, 2019)

Blodgett Chef Sarah Tresser visited the Specialized Test Kitchen to demonstrate the amazing capability of the Blodgett Hydrovection with Helix Technology.

U-line and Enomatic Happy Hour (July 24, 2019)

Street Tacos & Margaritas (May 30, 2019)

Specialized took a trip to the bustling streets of Mexico with the Evo EVent ventless griddle and experienced how this award winning, high-efficiency electric griddle is designed for front-of-house cooking for restaurants, sports arenas, cafeterias, convention centers, resorts, grocery stores and foodservice operators without an overhead vent hood.

You can’t take a trip to Mexico without jumping in the cockpit, the bartender’s cockpit of the Tobin Ellis signature cocktail station. We enjoyed handcrafted margaritas created in the most ergonomic, efficient, and creative cocktail station in the industry.

Pizza Forum [APR. 9-10, 2018]

Pizza Forum 2018 was an exciting two day event! Specialized brought over 22 local and global vendors to create, educate, and taste together. From ovens to mixers to dough to cheese, the event highlighted the latest and greatest in the world of pizza.
